Some 80,538 Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) applications have been submitted ahead of the 15 May deadline, a Department of Agriculture spokesperson has confirmed to the Irish Farmers Journal.

Any farmers who have yet to submit their application should do so at the earliest opportunity as the deadline approaches, the spokesperson said.

“The Department’s series of BPS online clinics is ongoing over the coming weeks and details of upcoming locations, etc, are available on the Department’s website.
