Wednesday
Another cool day in store for the farm community with widespread showers and a risk of thunder. Top temperatures reaching 14°C.
Thursday and Friday
More showers on Thursday and Friday with low pressure and poor weather expected over the coming weekend.

Sadly, persistent rain has meant that the north and west of the country has had double the average rainfall over the last week.
Munster and Leinster “had less than 80% of the norm”, according to Met Éireann.
Temperatures
Average temperatures are expected to be below normal in the northwest of the country.
Drying conditions
Frequent showery episodes mean that drying will be good at times.
Field conditions
Soil deficits range from 20 to 40mm except for the northwest of the country where soils are near saturation.
Spraying
Spraying opportunities will be largely weather dependent but winds are expected to be moderate at most.
