Zetor has carried out “comprehensive market assessment and reorganisation” of the brand. Nigel Wilson, Zetor’s sales director for the UK and Ireland, says this will be a “new and more progressive path” for the brand.

The company believes traction on the Irish market can be regained, underpinning its plans on a realigned dealer network, which stands at 10 dealers across the country. The brand said more appointments are set to come.

The company has an expanded model range which was previously not offered here in Ireland.

The brand currently covers power bands ranging from 40hp-170hp although the main focus will fall upon the 80hp Major series. Other ranges suitable to the Irish market include 76hp-117hp Proxima, 96hp-147hp Forterra, followed by the flagship 150hp-171hp Crystal series.

Zetor claim that to date the brand has sold more than 50,000 units since being first introduced here over 50 years ago.
