Aurivo Co-op announced Tuesday that it is keeping its base milk price unchanged for June supplies at 29c/l, excluding VAT.

"The pressure on returns is noted and current milk price does not reflect current returns, in particular due to lower butter prices in the market," a spokesperson for the processor said.

This follows the lead set by Lakeland, Glanbia and Kerry, who also held prices.

Lakeland held its milk price for June at 29.7c/l excluding VAT for standard constituents of milk.

Glanbia member milk suppliers will receive 29c/l, excluding VAT – this includes a support payment from Glanbia co-op of 0.47c/l excluding VAT.

The Kerry Group base price for June remains unchanged at 29c/l, excluding VAT.
