Thousands of people thronged to the 250-acre site on the Butterfield Estate, Blueball, Co Offaly, on Sunday for the 2019 Tullamore Show. The show in numbers:

  • €175,000 prize fund.
  • Almost 5,500 entries across a range of classes and competitions.
  • Some 2,500 live animals were on site.
  • Six hundred volunteers.
  • One hundred and twenty judges.
  • Fourteen cattle rings and 15 cattle breeds.
  • Five horse rings.
  • Four sheep rings and 13 sheep breeds.
  • Four national shows – Limousin, Simmental, Hereford, Charolais.
