Jon Parry has been appointed as principal of Gurteen College in Tipperary. Jon will be the sixth principal of Gurteen College, from it’s inception in 1946. Jon has worked for over 20 years in agricultural education, most recently he has held the position of head of dairy knowledge exchange at the UK Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB). He replaces retiring principal Mike Pearson.

Elsewhere, ABP Food Group has appointed Bob Carnell as chief executive officer of its UK division. He joins from Kerry Foods Consumer Brands Business in the UK and Ireland. He is replacing Tom Kirwan, who will step down from this role in October 2019.
