Day two of the 2019 National Ploughing Championships saw 113,500 people flock to Ballintrane, Fenagh, Co Carlow.
Adding Wednesday’s attendance figure to Tuesday’s, some 216,000 people have attended the first two days of Ireland’s flagship farming event.

The weather for day two of this year’s Ploughing was similar to that of day one – after a cool, bright start, it was a warm dry day.
More sunshine is forecast for the third and final day of this year's event.
More beef money
At Wednesday's Ploughing Fianna Fáil agriculture spokesperson Charlie McConalogue called for another compensation fund for Irish beef farmers as a result of poor prices since May of this year, following on from the €100m secured for the BEAM scheme.
