The annual sale of Scottish Blackface rams at Ballymena Mart reached a top price of 12,000gns for a Perth-type ram lamb bred by Connolly Brothers, Plumbridge. The same breeders sold a second ram to 10,000gns. Lanark-type ram lambs sold to a peak of 9,000gns for Patrick Fullerton, Draperstown, followed by 6,000gns paid for an animal bred by Thomas Harkin.
