Friday

There will be further widespread showers today, occasionally bringing a rumble of thunder according to Met Éireann. Highest temperatures will range between 12°C and 15°C. There will be sunny spells, with the sun low in the sky and causing dazzling at times.

Temperatures tonight will fall to between 5°C and 7°C and showers will become isolated, with long dry spells developing. There will be more frequent showers in the north and in the east that will merge to give longer spells of rain.

Saturday

There will be further showers on Saturday, with sunny spells for much of the country. Along eastern coasts, the showers will be most frequent, merging at times to give longer spells of rain, heavy at times through the morning. Highest temperatures will range from 12°C to 15°C. On Saturday night, temperatures will fall to 5°C or 6°C. There will be a few showers in the northwest and otherwise it will be mainly dry through the night.

Sunday

Sunday will be a dry day with sunshine. Temperatures during the afternoon will range between 11°C and 14°C. It will turn cold on Sunday night under clear skies with light winds and there will be misty conditions developing.
