“We are very thankful to local businesses for sponsorship. We also get great help from Kilmeedy Community Development personnel on event days, who always make sure that all participants are well looked after with refreshments in Aras Ide, the local community centre, both before and after events,” a spokesperson said.
The road run will kick off from Áras Íde Community Centre in Kilmeedy, Co Limerick, at noon. Participants will be presented with a plaque and a DVD on the day and refreshments will be provided before and after the event.
The entry fee is €20 and anyone interested can call John on 087-900 1608.
