The 2020 BPS and Greening Scheme is now open for applications on the Department of Agriculture website.
The BPS provides payments valuing €1.17bn to roughly 122,000 farmers every year.
Applications for all schemes, including Young Farmers Scheme, National Reserve, Transfer of Entitlements, and the Areas of Natural Constraint Scheme are now online and the Department are urging farmers to make their applications as soon as possible.

In previous years, the Department has provided support services and workshops for farmers making their applications and this is likely to be repeated this year with further details expected shortly.
