Ireland’s largest energy specific event for the farming community, Energy in Agriculture, has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19.
The annual event was due to take place in Gurteen Agricultural College, Tipperary, on 15 July 2020.
In a statement the organisers said: “Energy in Agriculture is essentially about improving the knowledge base of farmers, agri business and other stakeholders to ensure the agricultural sector can seize opportunities in the energy transition to create sustainable income and employment through new environmental business opportunities.”

The organisers have said they hope to use the next few months to provide a knowledge base of these opportunities.
