The next TAMS tranche will open on 22 August, the Department of Agriculture has confirmed. The current application window for farmers, tranche 18, is due to close on Friday 21 August with tranche 19 commencing the next day.
Minister for Agriculture Dara Calleary extended the application period for the current tranche which was due to close this Friday by two weeks earlier.
Planners have reported huge demand from farmers and confirmation that there will be another tranche after the current one closes will be a welcome relief for those under pressure to complete applications.

TAMS is due to close for new applications at the end of 2020 and tranche 19 may be farmers’ final opportunity to secure grant-aid on investments.
