A man has died in Co Meath after his motorbike collided with a cow on Monday night, An Garda Síochána have confirmed.
The collision occurred at approximately 10.15pm on the Navan to Athboy road N51 (approximately two miles outside Navan).
The male motorcyclist, who was 28 years, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to the mortuary at Navan Hospital and a post mortem is expected to be carried out today.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic examinations and local diversions are in place. It is expected will remain closed until lunchtime.
The cow was also killed in the collision.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have been on that stretch of road between 10pm and 10.15pm is asked to contact them at Navan Garda Station on 046 9036100, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
