The closing date for making an entry to the 2017 Mare Inspections is Friday, 3rd of March. So any owners wishing to have their Irish Draught or Irish Sport Horse mares in this revived programme must get an application form in to Horse Sport Ireland by that date. The forms are available from Antoinette at 045 854508 or Lorraine at 045 854517 and also at www.horsesportireland.ie.
The inspections get under way at West Cork Equine Centre on 28th of March and will continue until 25th of April.
It has to be noted that, due to ongoing inspections review, the format of these inspections will change for the Autumn session. It should also be noted that participants in the new Knowledge Transfer Equine Programme must have mares that have been assessed in order to become part of a group in that scheme.
