Massey Ferguson has announced a number of updates to its Activa S range of combines; the main one being the option of ParaLevel levelling up to 20%.

Already seen on the MF Beta range, this system is now available on the MF Activa S 5 and 6 walker models with four-wheel-drive fitted.

The system uses parallel linkage for levelling the combine, which doesn’t affect the fitting of wide tyres to the machine.

Front tyres can be as wide as 800/60R32 while still keeping the machine under 3.5m in width.

Key benefits of the system are improved safety, reduced losses and cleaner sample quality due to the levelling effect.

For farmers who do not require four-wheel-drive, ParaLevel levelling is available on two-wheel-drive machines up to 15%.

Other changes include the latest Tier 4 final AGCO POWER engines, which produce a maximum of 306hp while unloading in the range-topping MF Activa S 7347 PL.

To feed this machine, the high-specification PowerFlow table is fitted, which can be closely monitored from the Proline cab.

In the cab, constant speed allows the operator to select two speeds by simply pushing the lever to the right. This gives him more time to focus on other aspects of the machine.
