Matt Cunningham is celebrating 50 years on the music scene this year. The Galway man will headline two major concert shows in Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, Headford, on Thursday and Friday 16 and 17 April.
The Friday show is completely sold out and the Thursday night concert has been added to cater for demand.
Matt will be joined by family, friends and special guests for the two shows, which start at 9pm in his home area.

This year also marks Matt’s 30th year teaching music around north Galway and south Mayo.
TG4 is recording a documentary on his career and Nationwide on RTÉ is also doing a piece on his long career on the céilí and trad circuit.
Headford Comhaltas is hosting a series of events over the weekend of the 17-19 April in honour of Matt’s contribution to traditional music in the region.
Tickets (€15) for the Thursday night concert can be booked by ringing Campbell’s Tavern on 093-35454.
