The R62-72 rake will be on McHale’s stand at this year’s Ploughing Championships. Having been seen around the country over the last couple of summers on a rigorous testing regime, this will be the first time that the rake will be available for the public to view.

The rake can work from 6.2m to 7.2m. When folded for transport, the rotors fold up and move down into a locking position which delivers a transport height under 4m without having to remove any of the tine arms.

The McHale R62-72 is equipped as standard with 380/55 -17 tyres which give excellent stability on the road while minimising compaction in the field.

The transport running gear is approved for 40km/h. McHale claims that due to the rigorous testing that it has undertaken that this rake will be able to handle any conditions that our Irish climate can throw at it and leave the farmer with a well-aerated row to put into a bale or harvester.

McHale will also have a full range of its other machines on the stand including the recently launched Pro-Glide mowers, C460 baler chopper and the Fusion 3 combi baler.
