The event challenged the public to come up with recipes to feed a family of six for €5, as part of a drive to provide one million dinners for children in the developing world. The winning dish was cooked by Donal Hayes from Kinsale, Co Cork, a Moroccan medley of four dishes, including chickpea burgers, broad bean salad, spicy couscous and butternut squash salad.
