The farm comes with a share of commonage ground, a Single Farm Payment for 2015-2019 and 120 sheep (estimated at 60 Scotch ewes and 60 Cheviot cross ewes).

According to John Daly of Sherry Fitzgerald Daly, Kenmare, the commonage ground covers an enormous area of mountainous land (768.66ha) across the Glanmore valley, that encompasses four or five mountain tops. The buyer would be entitled to around 75ha (185 acres) of this commonage.

The vendor has estimated that the total Single Farm Payment for the five years would be €45,529. The farm also comes with a number of small sheds that are used for dipping, dosing and shearing.

It is dissected by the Glanmore river and a public road. The land close to the river and roadway is of decent quality and good for grazing, with the remainder being mountain ground. The farm is fenced and easily accessible thanks to the public road.

It is for sale by private treaty, with a guide price of €200,000. The sale is being handled by John Daly of Sherry Fitzgerald Daly, Kenmare.

Sherry Fitzgerald Daly is also handling the sale of another farm located nearby in Clogherane, Lauragh, Kenmare, Co Kerry.

The farm comprises 52 acres of mixed-quality farmland and is set in an idyllic location overlooking Glanmore Lake.

This farm also comes with a share of commonage ground that equates to around 19ha (46.95 acres).

There is also the option to purchase a renovated cottage with outbuildings on around two acres that adjoins the farm. The asking price for the farm is €80,000.
