The Mulloy Brothers from Mayo are celebrating 50 years in showbiz this summer. For five decades, the lads from Mulranny, Co Mayo, have remained ever faithful to their ballad roots and have performed in pubs and clubs all over Ireland and the UK.

They have also entertained on numerous occasions in Ashford Castle, where their wild abandon and interpretation of rousing ballads have always gone down a treat.

Tom and Pat, together with family members and Tom McGinty, keep the tradition alive and well. Two of their brothers, Mick and Martin, long time members of the band, died in recent years.

A major celebration night to mark the Mulloy Brothers Golden Jubilee will be held in the Mulranny Park Hotel on Saturday 6 June, where they will be joined by various artists for one great party night. CL
