These purpose-built buildings are designed to have the welfare of the bulls to the fore. In addition, the video will show the semen processing inside Ireland’s most modern and well-equipped semen laboratory. NCBC’s semen lab is equipped to ensure that all the semen is of the highest standard and capable of achieving the maximum conception rates in the field.

International sales is an important and growing part of NCBC’s business, with increased interest worldwide on NCBC’s breeding programmes – dairy, beef on dairy, replacement, terminal and polled.

From a dairy prospective, the talk among Munster and Progressive customers are the sires that top the EBI list. Also for next year there will be a really strong Jersey team that will feature the best sires available worldwide.

Milk recording is all about making your herd more profitable. At the stand, dairy farmers will get the opportunity to quiz the experts to make sure they are getting the full value from their reports and to discuss the option of added bonuses such as pregnancy and health tests using milk samples.
