So far there is only one confirmed candidate in the race for deputy president. Nigel Renaghan received a nomination from Monaghan last week.

Limerick IFA will have to decide whether to give the nomination to dairy and beef farmer Richard Kennedy or suckler farmer Donal O'Brien at their county executive meeting next Wednesday.
