A vacancy for Press & Communications Officer has become available with the Irish Cattle & Sheep Farmers’ Association (ICSA), a specialist independent representative organisation for farmers.
The role is described as a challenging and exciting one for a well-motivated individual and requires a highly literate person capable of working as part of a team to ensure the ICSA's point of view is communicated effectively via all media channels.

The successful candidate will be capable of working well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have an honours degree or higher in a relevant subject, an excellent understanding of how the media works, a broad knowledge and interest in agriculture, rural development and current affairs, the ability to develop good working relationships with key media contacts and 1-2 years' experience in a similar, relevant role.
