Pressure mounts for GLAS opening

IFA are to hold a lobby session to push for RDP approval - four months to application deadline.

Pressure is ramping up for the new agri-environment scheme, GLAS, to open. IFA is holding a lobbying session of Oireachtas members next week, calling for the approval of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) and the agri-environment scheme associated with it.

IFA hosts a commonage farmer meeting in Bunclody, Co Wexford tonight (Thursday).
