The Dealer got an angry call from one of the AI providers on Wednesday when he heard there was going to be no dairy active bull list this week. He had just gotten a text from the ICBF suggesting they would be back to him as soon as they knew when it would be available. He said the beef bull list was due in December and arrived in January.
“The dairy list should be out weeks ago and is still not out. I need to have my catalogues and brochures printed weeks in advance to give me a chance to sell and effectively all my catalogues have been consigned to the rubbish heap,” he said.
“Speaking of accuracy,” he continued, “when they tried to input calf weights into my whole herd recording report they couldn’t input calf weights and had to guess my cow weights. Accuracy, how are you!”
