Met Eireann have put the warning in place from today until Sunday night as rain gradually spreads across the country later today. Heavy rainfall is expected in the south and west, especially in coastal and moutainous areas.

Saturday will be a breezy day, with sunny spells and scattered showers. Showers will be heavy in some places.

Sunday will be another mild day with more scattered showers and temperatures reaching 14-17 degrees.

Outlook

More rain can be expected on Monday, although it will become fresher and cooler. Temperatures are expected to be around the low to mid-teens.
