Joosten was appointed to the Executive Board of FrieslandCampina in 2012 and is currently serving as COO of FrieslandCampina Ingredients business group. He joined the company in 2004 and was MD of FrieslandCampina Domo, which specialises in the production of infant nutrition and related ingredients.

Before joining the company he was employed by ICI and Unilever in various executive marketing and sales positions.

Cees't Hart

Chairman of FrieslandCampina, Piet Boer, said the company was immensely indebted to Cees’t Hart for his dedication and commitment over the past seven years and regrets seeing him go.

Hart was appointed Chairman of the Board of Royal Friesland Foods NV in May 2008 and he steered through the merger with Campina BV in December of that year. He also oversaw the successful integration of the two dairy companies and cooperatives and rolled out the group’s route 2020 strategy.

Under his leadership the company's revenue has increased from €8.2 to €11.4 billion. It has also achieved substantial growth in Asia and has taken over a number of cheese factories in Europe.

Tine Snels

Tine Snels has been appointed to replace Roelof Joosten as Executive director of FrieslandCampina Ingredients business.

She has nearly 20 years experience in management functions in the business to business ingredients, additives and animal feeds market.

Between 1993 and 1996 Tine acted as a consultant to the Belgian Farmers Federation. Throughout her career, she has taken various management and finance courses, including at IMD in Lausanne and London Business School.
