Feeling some guilt at the situation, Charlie tries to calm Dot’s nerves by convincing her to scatter Nick’s ashes. But never the fool, Dot realises that something’s not right and asks Charlie to tell her the truth. Will Dot finally come face-to-face with her son? Convinced his daughter can do better than Robert, Lawrence starts to interfere and deliberately tries to cause trouble between the pair. When he goes to Andy for advice, a downbeat Robert ends up in the stables were he finds Katie. Are there unfinished feelings between the pair and what will Chrissie find when she comes looking for Robert? Elsewhere, Ruby prepares to leave the village, unable to forgive Ali for her one-night-stand with Dan. But is it just Ali she’s leaving or could there be a baby on the way?

Hughie reaches rock bottom this week when he wakes up on a park bench surrounded by bottles. He heads back to McCoys and goes to rob a bottle from the bar, however, before he can be stopped, he collapses. In hospital, it becomes clear that Hughie’s drinking is far worse than anyone suspected. With Farah and Bob refusing to let Hughie stay with them, it’s left to Renee to help. Is there anyway back for Hughie?
