Manager Sean Leahy described trade at Tuesday's sale in Corrin mart as being very steady across the bullock sale, with medium and forward stores very much in demand.

Light stores made from €180 over up to €500 over the €/kg. Medium stores made from €200 up to €650 with the euro per kilo.

Forward store were sold from €280 with their weight for lighter dairy cross stock with continentals making up to €720 over the euro per kilo. Finished bullocks sold for up to €815 with their weight.

  • The heifer trade was steady with store heifers sold from between €220 and €550 over the €/kg. Butcher heifers made from €330 up to €790 with their weight.
