Gardaí in Tipperary and Kilkenny are holding two open days to reunite stolen property with its owners.

Members of the public are invited to view a large quantity of agricultural and gardening equipment and industrial generators, suspected to have been stolen during burglaries in Ireland and the UK.

Two property recovery days will take place between 3pm and 7pm on Tuesday, 27 June, and Wednesday, 28 June 2017, respectively.

Property will be on display and can be viewed by members of the public at Comerfords Yard (formerly Castle Brand Factory), Tyone, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

The items, which are presumed to have been stolen during a series of burglaries in Ireland and the UK, include strimmers, chainsaws, drills and many more power tools.

Property on display recovered by An Garda Síochána has not been identified or claimed by owners and has remained in Garda custody until this time.

In addition to the recovery day, services of the Crime Prevention Officer and Victims of Crime Services will be made available to the public.
