Charleville-based auctioneer John Flynn is handling the sale of a substantial residential farm in Doorlus, near the village of Granagh, Co Limerick. Extending to 64.5 acres, the property includes an old-style bungalow farmhouse and a range of stone farm buildings. The land, which is all in grass, is laid out in 10 principle divisions and described by Flynn as “top-class Golden Vale grazing ground”. While the farm has been let for the last number of years, it has been well maintained and considered by locals to be one of the best farms of land in the area, according to Flynn. The farm at Doorlus will be offered for sale by public auction on Thursday 19 March, at 3pm in the Charleville Park Hotel, and is guided at €600,000, or €9,300/acre, by selling agent Flynn.
