Part of the role of the successful applicants will be to provide input and deliver on assigned objectives of the agreed business plan as part of a region or college team, and to use a range of effective advisory methodologies as part of an enterprise team to achieve technology transfer and sustainable client development.
Applicants must hold a relevant Level 8 Degree in Agricultural Science. Failing this they should have an equivalent agricultural qualification to include the following as major components: animal production, crop production, soil science and farm business management.
They must also show expert agriculture knowledge and demonstrate how they stay abreast of current best practices and research.

In terms of behavioural qualities, applicants must have excellent analysis and problem solving skills as well as decision support abilities, They must also have work and project organisational skills which show pro-activity and drive.
