The European Commission has just opened a tender for the study on risk management in the EU agricultural industry. The study will look at risks in a number of areas including farm incomes, production structures, environmental factors and market equilibrium.
The study is part of the annual management plans of the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development and all assessments will be monitored by independent experts.
The 10-month study will be used to provide the Commission with an analysis of global risks in order to generate more informed decisions related to CAP.
