A new album and a countrywide tour means a busy few weeks for The Fureys.

One of the most enduring family bands in Irish showbiz, these lads have almost four decades of stage performances behind them, and they still look forward to each show with all the enthusiasm of a fresh dawn.

The Times They Are A Changing features 16 songs that hold a special place in their hearts.

“It is a collection of songs we have been intending to record for several years. They are well-known songs written by great writers and performers that we have met over the years, including Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Ewan McColl, Pete Seeger, Jim Croché and Gordon Lightfoot. We are delighted to have seen this mission through,” says Eddie.

Dreaming My Dreams, Mr Tambourine Man, Both Sides Now, Blowing In The Wind, Early and 500 Miles are just a few of the classics included. The album was recorded in France.

Joe McCadden has looked after the diary for the lads for many years and their tour takes in various European countries and further afield.
