Two people wearing hoods and gloves were seen on CCTV entering the premises on the Banbridge Road in Lurgan at around 4.40am. They left the scene in a light coloured van four minutes later.

The incident coincides with two other thefts in the locality at the same time. A generator, grinder and rotavator were stolen from a farm at the Hall Road and Banbridge Road junction and other equipment was taken from nearby road works.

A PSNI spokesperson pointed out that a rock breaker taken from the road works weighs around 400kg and would have required several people to lift it.

Information

Police are appealing for anyone that seen suspicious activity in the area at the time, or have been offered veterinary supplies or construction equipment at low prices to contact them.

The PSNI also warned farmers that the stolen vaccines will most likely not have been refrigerated and will be ineffective.
