All 111 cows were mobility scored for lameness last Friday, 14 July.
Twenty-three cows were taken out for hoof-paring, while 19 had small issues such as long toes and sand cracks and four cows have been persistently lame.
Passageways are being dusted with 804 at the moment and vibrated rolled into the ground to reduce any more issues with lameness.

Grass growth
Grass growth was 62kg/dm/ha with a demand of 56kg/dm/ha.
There is currently 12 days of grass ahead of the cows but the lack of moisture is becoming a real issue.
Twenty-five bales of excess grass were taken out of the system on 15 July and these bales were placed in the kale field for foddering in the winter.
All paddocks are getting one bag of 18-6-12 per acre.

Bulls will be taken out on Friday 21 July.
Six cows were seen bulling in the last seven days.
Heifer calves and bull calves are to be separated and weighed this coming Thursday. Dung samples were taken from the calves and showed up clear for worms and fluke.
Maintenance work has been completed such as power-washing and disinfecting and all weeds were sprayed underneath fences.
