Although trade was steady, cattle with over four movements and cattle over 30 months, while finding homes, were a harder sell.

There was a large selection of bullocks weighing 530kg up. There were some exceptional lots breaking 600kg and even 700kg in the 18- or 20-month age bracket. There were some very solid Friesians there and these were in demand, with the tops going around €1.65/kg. Overall, Friesian bullocks sold from €200 to €400 with their weight.

Hereford and Angus-cross bullocks made from €300 to €500 with their weight. A selection of autumn-born continentals started off the sale and these sold relatively well. Continental bullocks sold from €400 up to €650 with the euro per kilo.
