Although the Dealer frequently sees people getting away with using their mobile phones while driving, there’s always a few ould sods who get caught.
Like the tractor driver today in Co Meath who was caught by the Meath traffic unit who were out on the prowl – I mean patrol.

The traffic unit caught the unsuspecting tractor driver while he was holding a mobile phone and issued him with a fixed-charge penalty notice of €80 and three penalty points.
Ouch! Considering the driver probably needs to use his phone while driving, maybe he should take the Dealer’s advice and invest in a hands-free set?
A quick search on Amazon shows they come in a good bit cheaper than €80.
