Kevin Moore from Grangecon, Co Kildare, told the Irish Farmers Journal that the trailer was stolen at night just one week ago. “They broke into the farmyard from the road, the lock was broken and the gate was damaged,” he said. The trailer parked in his yard belonged to his brother-in-law, he added.
We have searched the countryside for it
Ten sheep gates were in the second-hand trailer, with Kevin putting a total value of €3,500 on the equipment taken. He has reported the theft to the Gardaí but has not yet received any information on the missing trailer. “We have searched the countryside for it,” he said.
