For the 12-month period from August 2015 to July 2016, EU agri-food exports reached a value of more than € 128 billion, corresponding to an increase by 0.7% in value terms compared to the same period one year ago.
If you compare July 2016 to the same month last year the highest increase in export values were achieved for pork which rose by €1.1 billion, which is the equivalent to an increase of 29% on July 2015.

The overall monthly value of EU agri-food exports in July 2016 reached € 10.5 billion, €700m less than July 2015. Hong Kong, Russia and Algeria were noted as contributing to the most important reductions in export values compared to July last year.
Meanwhile exports to some Asian and North-East African destinations, namely India, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Sudan Ethiopia and Libya, increased compared to last year's data for July.
Agri-food imports to the EU decreased by €940m in July compared to the same month last year.
