Is this the most creative campaign video of the general election?
Fine Gael TD and farmer Martin Heydon raises the stakes in the bid to achieve a viral campaign video in the general election – oh, and the small matter of re-election.
In a Back to the Future-themed video – subtly changed to Secure your Future – Fine Gael TD for Kildare South Martin Heydon travels back in time to take a look at all the promises he has delivered since 2011.
The video begins with Martin hard at work on the farm, with a cow about to calve, when the Doc arrives unexpectedly to help on the campaign trail. The pair then embark on an epic journey around the constituency, but not before filling the DeLorean up with a few nuts. Who knew the flux capacitor ran on calf ration?
Take a look at the video below - we must admit that we’re impressed by the production values.
