Saturday will have a lot of dry weather with just well scattered passing showers. Conditions will be breezy, with fresh northwest breezes persisting until mid-afternoon and a mix of cloud and sunny spells through the day. Top temperatures will be in the range 15°C to 18°C.
There will be heavy rain on Saturday night, with thundery downpours leading to spot flooding in places. Rain will move across the country from the southwest, but parts of Leinster and Ulster will remain dry until morning.
It will be mostly overcast on Sunday with overnight rain continuing into the daytime hours. Rain will be persistent and sometimes heavy with an ongoing risk of spot flooding. It will ease off later with sunny spells breaking through in the south. Highest temperatures of 16°C to 20°C.
