BPS online application provides many benefits to farmers over a paper application. In order to help farmers through this process, the Department is putting in place a range of supports for farmers who are applying online.

One such support is that the Department will have staff members available in a number of locations to meet farmers on a one-to-one basis to assist them in making their online applications.

The Department’s office on the Abbeyleix Road in Portlaoise has a team available to meet farmers every weekday up to and including the BPS closing date of 15 May. As the closing date approaches, this service will also be available outside normal office hours and on the weekend of 13 and 14 May.

There will also be a team available from 9.30am to 5.30pm in the Department’s offices in Farnham Street, Cavan and in Derryhallagh, Drumshanbo, on the dates below.

  • Government Buildings, Farnham Street, Cavan: 19 April; 2 May, 3 May, 9 May, 10 May, 11 May, 15 May.
