It’s that time of the year again. Don the wellies because the National Ploughing Championships is just weeks away and, for the 10th year running, Neven Maguire will be cooking up a storm at the Irish Farmers Journal stand.

The award-winning chef will take our readers on a culinary journey through delicious but achievable meals, with cookery demos taking place right throughout the Ploughing Championships.

To celebrate a decade of cooking with Neven, the Irish Farmers Journal, in association with Simply Better, exclusively at Dunnes Stores, has a fantastic competition.

Get the recipe books at the ready because we are offering three lucky readers the chance to cook with Neven at the Ploughing, as well as an overnight stay and dinner at the award-winning MacNean restaurant in Blacklion, Co Cavan.

All you need to do is develop a dessert recipe where the main ingredient is a Simply Better product. Perhaps it’s your signature oozing chocolate pudding using their selection of Irish handmade Belgian chocolate or maybe your fantastic flan is topped off beautifully with their Simply Better handmade Irish raspberry preserve. Could it be that your coffee cake that everyone talks about calls for Simply Better dark roast java ground coffee?
