According to Met Éireann Saturday will be mild and rather windy and dry in most places. Western and northwestern areas will be will be more cloudy, with patchy rain near coasts. The clouds in eastern and southern areas will be broken with sunny spells, with the sunny southeast getting the most of the warm rays. Temperatures will range from 11C to 13C. However, it will become wet on Saturday night as the rain spreads.

Sunday

The day will be cloudy with rain at first in parts of the southeast and east. But the rest of the day will be bright with sunny spells. Sunday will be cooler than previous days with afternoon highs of about 7C or 8C.

Some scattered showers will be likely in the north and northwest, but it will be mostly dry elsewhere. On Sunday night the warmth during the day will will turn to frost and cold.

Wind warnings

An orange wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway and Mayo, while a yellow warning is in place for Wexford, Wicklow, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. Gusts of 85 to 100 km/hr are possible. These warnings are valid until Sunday morning.
