Mexico, with an increase of 1.8%, is the only country in Central and South America where production is up for the first half of this year. Production is down by 4.5% in Brazil, 3.2% in Chile and 12.5% in Uruguay.

Russia has increased its milk production by 0.5% to 11.818mt between January and May. Belarus is up by 0.8% to 3.545mt, but Ukraine is down by 1.7% to 5.107mt between January and June.
Japan is up by 1.2% to 3.15mt, but Australia dropped by 3.5% to 3.566mt.
