World plant-based milk day took place on August 22, with claims that plant-based milk is better for the planet, animals and for humans than cows’ milk.
I see that the world plant-based milk day took place on 22 August. On the world plant-based milk day’s website, which can helpfully be found at www.worldplantmilkday.com, it is claimed that plant-based milk is better for the planet, animals and for humans than cow’s milk.
The IFA has told the Dealer that it and Irish farmers fully respect the right of consumers to choose plant-based products as milk or meat replacements.
However, it said it is disturbing that activist vegan organisations would use arguments based on distorted and incorrect information on the welfare of farm animals to condemn those who choose to consume natural milk and meat.
