A 79-acre residential dairy farm at Killominogue, Innishannon comes with modern accommodation for almost 100 cows and a four-bedroom bungalow, writes Shirley Busteed.
Fresh to the land market this week is a circa 79-acre residential dairy package situated at Killominogue, Innishannon, Co Cork.
The sale of (active) dairy farms is almost as rare as hen’s teeth these days and is something I haven’t written about in quite some time. Just 2.5 miles from Innishannon, the Killominogue property comes with modern cow accommodation for almost 100 cows, as well as a lovely four-bedroom bungalow, making it the ideal walk-in operation for any young enthusiastic dairy farmer.
A very interesting sale
Just launched to the market this week by joint agents Mike Brady from the Brady Group, Lee Road, Cork and Ernest Forde from Hodnett Forde, Clonakilty, the property should make for a very interesting sale in the coming weeks and months, given the infrequency of such a package to the open market, not just in Co Cork but indeed all over the country.
The farm is for sale by private treaty at a guide price in the region of €1.25m.

Elm Park Estate, a circa 99ac residential holding, blends the old and contemporary – the property was once home to a prep school for boys, writes Tommy Moyles.
