Weather

It will be a dry start for most people on Monday, with just a few showers around, but it will be cloudy for everyone, according to Met Éireann. The best chance of any sunshine will be on Monday morning.

Outbreaks of drizzle will develop in the west and southwest during the afternoon. This light rain and drizzle will spread northeast to the rest of the country. Top temperatures will range from 15°C to 18°C.

Rain will clear away over Monday night but will linger for a time on Tuesday morning, especially for those in Connacht and Ulster. Once the rain clears away, the forecast is for a much warmer and settled week ahead.
